September to mid-October 2016

School pics - they must have told Gordon to sit up straight ; )

Dinner party at our friend's house - so fun to be able to bike to friend's houses

My name tag! I'm absolutely loving my job. The ladies I work with are fantastic & the clients are so grateful for breastfeeding help. Seeing their confidence boost after taking a breastfeeding class or getting a one on one consult with me is so rewarding.

I'm excited for the continuing education opportunities. I'm going to a perinatal mood disorders conference in October in Helena.

Biking to school on a chilly morning

Lunch date

Gordon's school work

Buddies

A tree in memory of Abner Hogen planted near the library. We like to stop here and think of sweet baby Abner.

Music on the library lawn

I had training for work in Helena - touring the state capital between training

Pumping in the lobby of the Department of Public Health during work training because 5 employees couldn't tell me where the pumping room was. Oh the irony.

Downtown Helena

Going to the teahouse is one of my favorite things to do with my kids.

School friends

Map brewing with friends

I stole my friend's picture of the clouds over the Bridger mountains

Fall hike

Gordon blends in here

Sleepover

Sweet dust art

Construction at Bogert! I'm so excited to see the finished project!

Perfect Friday afternoon, tacos and ice cream downtown

This was the day we decided to pull Gordon out of Kindergarten. We had 2 blissful weeks of Kindergarten, then week 3 hit and he was over it. It wasn't a good fit for him this year. One doc thought Gordon has ODD but after getting other opinions we think it is probably retained moro reflex. He is going to OT a couple of times a week to integrate this reflex. I have so much to learn about this! You can read more about this here: About retained Moro Reflex

Ella is loving school & thriving. Her teacher is amazing...and we are super picky! She's the kind of person I want to sit and talk with for hours. She is so warm and loving towards the kids. Ella had an immediate connection with her. She never connected with her teacher from last year, she wasn't the warm fuzzy type. We couldn't have asked for a better educator. I need to find a way that Ella can have her every year ; )

Fall in our neighborhood

Bozeman hay maze

We had to find different crayons throughout the maze to get a prize at the end

Playing in corn

Making daddy guts

Fairy Lake trailhead

How do they always end up horizontal?

School playground

Rocky Creek Farm

Our buddy Cedric

My favorite 9 week old!

They made their own lunch, they peeled potatoes and carrots, cooked it and served it.

First snow - it was in the 70's after this

She wanted to lose a tooth in school so she could get a tooth necklace to carry it in. She wiggled it just enough over the weekend so she could pull it out in school.
