Surrogacy update: The egg retrieval from the donor was successful! I should start the rest of the IVF medications around mid-June. If everything continues to go well from this point on, we should be doing the embryo transfer around mid-July. I've waited so long for this to happen! We are all so excited that things are finally moving!
I co-coordinated a Miracle Milk Stroll to raise money for The Best for Babes & Le Leche League organizations.

We saw Dr. Scott from Dinosaur Train! He is often working at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and we saw him in the cafeteria.
Ella before her tonsillectomy
Post tonsillectomy
My recovery took about 3 weeks to feel like myself. I still have pain when yawning, sneezing, coughing, eating spicy foods...you get the point. Tonsillectomies suck, big time. I lost so much weight and hardly got off the couch for a week. Ella did much better. She had pain for 2 weeks but she still ate and drank. I really hope all of our throat issues go away because that was hell.
Our Cheetah Spot got attacked by a fox but the fox just got away with a mouthful of feathers. The neighbor chased the fox away before he could kill her.
Our babies are getting big!
Ella likes to take her chick for walks in her sweater.
Ella made me this necklace out of a domino for Mother's Day. She does some of the coolest art projects at The Homeschool Alliance.
