April 2015

Visiting the animals in Marshdale with friends

We finally have a fully fenced yard! Mark built a corrugated metal gate and hung it this month.

Ella fell teeth first on our wooden steps. The dentist said she will be fine. She looked like Cindy Lou Who for a few days.

I think it's the cutest thing when they decide to hold hands.

Chick brooder

The elk in our neighborhood

My sister and Jeff went to Honduras, Seattle & Vancouver for 3 weeks so their dog Belle stayed with us.

The elk skull is hung! Now we are true mountain folk.

Gordon & Belle at the dog park

A cool fort at the dog park

Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Gordon asked if we use arteries to make art. I told him only some crazy murderers do that.

Watching a sheep's lung dissection at the museum

Watching a pig's lung inflation

Gordon took good care of Belle, he always made sure she was covered up so she stayed warm.

At The Learning Center getting things done

We finally made it to Pho on 6 for our date night after hearing about it for 3 years. Pho Golden is WAY better in our opinion for those of you in the area ; )

Outside for the first time

Crazy April snow storm

We had to dig our way to the chicken coop

We had a great time watching one of Ella's friends a few hours a week this month. The girls made a snow cave under the picnic table.

Evergreen

I had my trial embryo transfer for gestational surrogacy this month. The egg donor is scheduled to have her eggs extracted at the end of May. HOPEFULLY the embryo transfer will happen by July. I've been ready to carry this baby for a LONG time!

Strolling around Golden before a doc appointment. Ella & I are having our tonsils out in May. It'll be rough month! Hopefully we will both feel better once they are gone.
