We finally went to the community garden today
Golden City Brewery, Golden's second larger brewery. GCB is less than a block from our house! We filled a growler with "Lookout Stout" and enjoyed lunch in the beer garden.

Some more photos of the house we are renting, unfortunately we are only in a small portion of the house. It's quite a beautiful historic home though!

I spent a few hours last weekend weeding the front and side of the house so I can eventually plant some herbs and flowers.
