Ella's letter to Santa...even though we don't do Santa
Ella's 10th birthday surprise was a newly decorated room. She spent the weekend at Aunt Melissa's house and had no idea what we were up to.
Breakfast at the Gallatin Inn on a rare "open to the public" day.
Sneaking in to ice skate at Bogert before it was officially open.
Our New Year Card
This was the first time Gordon participated in the school holiday concert. We were so proud!
He held hands with his friend Sunny when he got nervous.

Ella took some selfies to remember being 10.
Ella's 10th birthday at the ice rink.
We always over invite since a lot of people are gone around the holidays when we have her party. This year, most of them could make it! They had a blast.
Opening gifts in the corner
Bogert ice rink finally opened on Christmas Eve! We can walk to the rink from our house!
Low-key Christmas morning...we didn't get them any gifts this year. The grandparents got them a few things and they were happy. Ella is at the age where she asks for a few expensive things instead of a bunch of cheap, crappy toys. She got an iPod with accessories for it, a Bozeman made Sauce Active hat and some unicorn snot skin products. Gordon got a few nerf guns and nerf accessories.
We live next to some trails and parks so a lot of people walk by our house. I work from home so I see at LEAST a handful of people every day stop and point and chat and take pics of our house. I am proud of the design I came up with and all of the work that Mark and I put into this home transformation. We think it's a pretty hip place to live.
SO many new puppies at Peets after Christmas.
This is why we love living downtown. The kid's friends knock on our door and off they go to the library, parks, ice skating, trails, school, and all downtown has to offer. All without getting in a car. This is why we only need one car.
