Picking grapes in our friend's backyard

We went to Boise to have our friend's embryo transferred into me. I am their surrogate! So far things are looking good. The embryo implanted and I am feeling very sick all the time so I'm taking that as a good sign.

Back in 2006 when we were roommates and now I'm his surrogate. Life is so unexpected.

The Yellowstone fire on the way home from Boise - it was much worse just 4 days later. We could see trees going up in flames one by one.

Picture of all of the meds I have to take to be a surrogate - minus the antibiotic pack I had to take the week before the embryo transfer.

Teacher assignments arrived! We are very excited about having Mrs. Breault for Gordon since Ella had such a great year with her.

At the Bozeman airport on our way to Rochester, NY

We had about a 1 minute layover in Minneapolis so Gordon made himself comfortable. We literally walked off one plane and walked on to the plane at the gate next to us but he needed a break.

Ella took some cute pics of us

He had to try a wine grape. I told him it wouldn't taste good but he had to find out for himself.

Having lunch at a winery on Cayuga Lake where Gigi used to live

Trying to get a selfie with Gordon

We got to visit Gigi's old house where Gordon was born before the new owners move in. I had to get a pic where I spent most of the time in labor with Gordon.
