Before and after yard transformation

Gertrude has been escaping the coop and walking to the front door on a daily basis, usually more than once.

Snail mail letter from one of Gordon's teachers - he was very proud, so are we.

Gordon and I on the "news" wall at school

I finally have enough energy to go out after the kids (& Mark ; ) are asleep to listen to music at the Rialto.

We found a dog wondering in our neighborhood so we took him home until we could find the owner. The owner brought us flowers the next day. Turns out the dog was super old and blind. He was about to cross a busy street, I'm glad Ella chased him down.

Too cool

The kids went to the neighbor's house to help her with yard work. When I went to check on them, she was feeding them candy and lemonade. So much for getting yard work done.

Gordon FINALLY lost his first tooth. He shot it out with his arrow shooter toy.

Olive took a break under my legs at the top of the mountain

Exiting day trip to Yellowstone. This big guy and his friend were running straight toward our car around a bend in the road with a vertical rock face on one side and a cliff on the other so they could only travel on the road. Thankfully the cars on the other side of the road stopped just in time to let the bison in front of them so they didn't ram our car. I was very close to putting the car in reverse and stepping on it. They swerved around us at the last minute.
