Mid-February-March 2017

I passed the roller derby snowflake test. Now I'm in derby 101! My derby name is:
Amber Waves of Pain

My derby friend - the team went out to celebrate passing the snowflake test

Rollerskating to breakfast

Ella running to meet Mark on his walk home from work. We have been in our house almost a year & it's home. We love the walkability. We love the neighborhood & our neighbors. It's where we dreamt of buying a house for the past 10 years & never thought it would be possible & here we are.

Biking to the library

Gordon & his cousin Belle. Gordon got a bigger bike & he's zooming all over town on it.

Aunt Lissa

The new bridge going in at the park behind our house. They are curving the creek to prevent flooding down stream...hopefully the construction will be done soon so we can enjoy the park over the summer.

Spring break camp

Playing soccer at spring break camp

This is the Montana I imagined before I moved here 11 years ago!

I left my job at WIC to work with a non-profit called Roots Family Collaborative. I am planning to teach some breastfeeding classes & host a surrogacy support group.
Check out: Roots website

Roots is hosting a Calm & Clear Mama's 40 day meditation as seen above ; )

The neighbors had baby goats visiting for a day

I went in the school to pick up Ella and caught the end of her Costa Rica scrapbook presentation. I'm blown away by how much her confidence has improved since the start of school. She was sitting tall in front of the class answering questions about our trip. She's an incredible kid.

Our obsession with the Teahouse continues

Caught a sweet moment

Gordon has been begging for a puppy...nope, we didn't get him one. Our neighbor got a puppy & told Gordon he could come over any time and play with him. This neighbor doesn't know what he just offered.

Ella's teacher sent me these photos of Ella with some classmates. We are going to miss her teacher next year. She has exceeded my expectations.
