July 2016

July was AMAZING! We did so many fun things! I have WAY too many pics this month!

I have been filling in for a woman on maternity leave in the Lactation Education department at the Gallatin County Health Department since May.  I've been SO busy although I'm keeping it under 20 hours a week so I can give the kids an amazing first summer in Bozeman. Above is a photo of me holding the already staked breastfeeding tent down at the Livingston farmer's market. The Livingston wind is NO joke! I was just offered and accepted the position of the WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor at the GCHD. It'll be about 10 hours a week to start. I'm going to do both positions until the woman comes back from maternity leave! The Health Department is full of wonderful people. It has been a great transition back into the workforce after being a stay at home mom for over 7 years.

Farmer's Market fun

I'm so in love with biking around Bozeman with my kids - we are on the path that goes from our house to the library

Fun with friends, some of which we have known since Ella was born.

Uncle Jeff

We have been spending a few days a week at the pool by our house. Ella had the whole pool to herself one evening - picture below. Most of the lifeguards know Gordon by name, either because they have yelled at him or he talks their ear off!

Lunch on the lawn at the Emerson. The kids paint this playhouse every week throughout the summer and raffle it off. I guess it's pretty loaded with paint by the end!
