Our second dusting of snow

Melissa & Jeff also came for a couple of days. They drove their Jeep out because they are moving to Steamboat Springs, CO in November!!! We can't wait to have them close!

Haircut day at the Campanelli's

Our outdoor chicken run is done! Complete with a hardware cloth roof. This thing is predator proof! Mark & I (ok, mostly Mark) did it all ourselves, with the help of Nana watching the kids while we built it. Ella made the "fresh eggs" sign. They go in the shed with the door shut at night, they free range in our yard if we are home & they are in the outdoor run during the day if we are gone. They are spoiled girls. They have been giving us 4-5 eggs a day. We should be getting 6 a day once they are all laying.

Ready to go swimming

A double yolker

The chickens are always hanging out by our door and windows

Milk, soap and food coloring experiment

I love the leg lamp at Cactus Jack's

All of the kids made a scarecrow to line the street at the TLC Halloween party.

Ella & MJ working on their's

Trick or treating in downtown Evergreen - Gordon wanted to be a spider for trick or treating, he wouldn't keep his spider hat on though. We found 2 second hand costumes so he got to be spiderman and a spider this Halloween!

There was a herd of elk next to us while we trick or treated at the island neighborhood.
It's a gated community so they shut the gates during trick or treating so you don't have to worry about traffic and all of the houses are decked out. We only did a few houses and then the kids were ready for the Halloween party.

Halloween party #3

Gordon was unsure of the Halloween decorations. He cried when we went through the haunted house.

Gordon tried to shoot the man dressed as snow white

MJ & Gordon were a bit sleepy

We are starting the month of November with the flu & Ella's first loose tooth!
