We are hoping to put a lower level onto our deck and have it extend to the lower retaining wall...maybe next summer.

Ella is quite the crafter

First experience with sparklers!

Building a bug box at Home Depot  - our 5 minute trip to home depot to get some fasteners turned into an hour of building and painting bug boxes. We forgot the first Saturday of every month is kids day with a free building project. This month they even had show cones and hot dogs. Exciting stuff with 5 & 3 year olds!

Baby elk at the lake

We counted 7 baby elk!

Twin fawns! See them in the grass?

They stopped dancing once I got the camera out. Gordon is all over this girl!

S'mores station

I love that Ella has her arm around Gordon...and she isn't trying to tackle him!

I can't believe they stayed awake long enough for us to make it to fireworks! The show was the longest fireworks show I have even seen. We didn't get home until almost 11pm.
