July 1st - 15th 2012

4th of July Festival at Lions Park

Our neighbors down the street invited us for a BBQ, Ella had a BLAST!  We had a great time too ; )

Unfortunately there is still a fireworks ban but the "M" was lit up in red, white and blue and they did a little light show.

We had a string of much needed thunder storms

Ella's swim lessons

Someone brought their pet parrot to the river

He has to bite EVERYTHING

Gordon was in heaven when we parked next to this dog.

Building a fort

We finally have the house unpacked....

I need to get wall storage for the kid's room.

Our incredibly nice neighbors are on vacation in Wisconsin this week and gave us their car to use while they are gone.  We are falling in love with subarus, especially after renting a Nissan Sentra and a Chevy Malibu (seriously unhappy with those cars).  The doors on this car shut SO smoothly!

Grandpa arrived on the 11th and left the 15th.  We had a great time and saw some breathtaking sites. Grandpa is reading to Ella outside Cafe 13.

I love how they have the same "look" in all 3 photos!

We ran into some friends at the Farmer's market puppet show.

The line for the Coors tour was over an hour wait so we'll have to take it next time Grandpa visits.
